Facebook and Twitter are very different sites. Much like Myspace, Facebook is easily customizable and does not have character limits on the posts. Twitter is not very customizable and allows only 280 words to be "tweeted" at a time. However both site give you the ability to "follow" somone. While on Facebook you can be friends with somone, it also give producers the ability to make pages, allowing fans of that content to follow the page and receive updates much like on Twitter where you follow someone to see what they tweet. While Facebook's spreadability is not as great as Twitter, this helps producers get their content out on multiple platforms and allows for more fan interaction.
